About the Artist
Hey, I'm Emma, the artist behind Bare Bone Art. Seven years ago I moved from a landlocked Colorado farm town to San Diego, mostly to be near the water. Making things has always been my thing, since before I knew it could be a real thing. A few years back, I started taking the art part seriously....as seriously as a non-serious person can, anyway.
I gravitate toward abstract coastal art; simple, stripped down, no color-splash realism. That's not a style choice so much as just what actually looks good to me on a wall.

Outside of the garage, here are some of my favorite things:
-glassy mornings surfing
-morning coffee camping
-drinking on the ski lift
-CEVICHE
-getting film back
-a neighborhood with tucked in shops
-community: when old and young people are friends
-when you or your friend throw your phone after sending a risky text
-laughing with strangers
